About the programme

The Ph.D. Program in Philosophy from Sofia University St.Kliment Ohridski, besides studies in residence, offers an opportunity for extramural studies (extramural studies is a Bulgarian version of distance learning).

This Philosophy program from Sofia University St.Kliment Ohridski provides instruction in all major areas of Western Philosophy; besides, the doctoral dissertation can be written on a topic from Eastern Philosophy as well – an expert in this field will be appointed as the supervisor.
